Apple Spice Junction is a Fresh Deli concept that specializes in box lunch delivery, corporate catering, and retail trade. We are part of the high growth segment emerging in the restaurant industry known as “fast casual”. What distinguishes us from the rest of the industry is simple;
it’s our focus on delivery. It’s what sets us apart. Our mission is to be the most
familiar name in servicing the business community’s dining needs whether it’s a small
office meeting or a catered event for thousands. While we continue to consider all
industries a potential customer, there are certain businesses that tend to utilize our
services more frequently than others. A few that stand out are local government, pharmaceutical
companies, and universities. We focus on organizations that order in breakfast, lunches, catered meals for meetings, and company wide events. Other reasons may include bad weather, and the fact that people are just too busy to get away from the office. We
fulfill these needs through a variety of menus, but primarily with our Box Lunch &
Catering menus. Our box lunches may be utilized in a more casual environment and is
better suited for smaller groups. Box Lunches also require less lead time in order to
prepare. Our Catering service is set up with linen table cloths, carries a higher price point, usually has a dessert component, and generally is set up in a buffet format. Both aspects of the business are built for high volume and present a very simple, yet cost efficient model.
While the ASJ model(s) target the business community, a tremendous retail opportunity
exists via our General Retail Outlet (GRO). This model still offers light catering and box lunch delivery, but offers a more prominently positioned store front, and therefore
attracts a higher density of walk-in traffic. This opportunity is postured for potential franchisees
that may have a little less to invest and are looking for a more simple operation.
